Dr. Raman has over a decade of project management, agile transformation and implementation, coaching, and training experience. He has has been an agile coach at the team, program, and enterprise level. He has helped organizations setup an agile center for excellence, release trains, and get ISO and CMMi certified for their agile processes. Some of his clients have included Intel, PayPal, JP Morgan Chase, AOL, Bristol Myers Squibb, Biogen Idec, Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Galderma, Cisco, just to name a few. Dr. Raman has four academic degrees, which includes two undergraduate degrees in Biomedical Science Research and Laboratory Science and two graduate degrees in Information Technology from University of Maryland, Towson University, and George Mason University respectively.

Dr. Raman is well versed in several methodologies/frameworks for managing projects like Scrum, Waterfall, V-model, Kanban, SAFe, etc. He has supported all aspects of the software lifecycle (SDLC) and has developed and implemented Agile processes consistent with ISO 9001:2008 and CMMi standards. Apart from Agile process improvement and implementation, Dr. Raman has also spearheaded development of a light weight Scrum Agile Management tool that uses social logins and supports offline mobile capability. Dr. Raman currently works as an Agile consultant and trainer to help organizations adapt Scrum for their projects. Apart from his consulting, he has published a book, titled "Conquer the Fundamentals of Scrum." and does certified Agile training for clients. Dr. Raman is also looking to publish case studies on Scrum practices for software development to share his experience with others. A particular interest is how Scrum can be implemented with remote teams - a common theme with many organizations today. He has been on review committees for selecting speakers for the Scrum Alliance conferences and holds an adjunct faculty position in the College of Health and Human Services at George Mason University.
