Attendees of this SPC Class will be trained using the new Leading SAFe and Implementing Agile Release Trains (ARTs) courseware for Scaled Agile Framework 3.0 (SAFe). The class provides instructor-led training from the principal contributors to the framework and authors of the updated courseware.

Richard Knaster
Principal Consultant and Thought Leader

Richard has over 25 years experience in software development in roles ranging from developer to executive and has been involved in Agile for over a decade.  Prior to joining Scaled Agile Inc., Richard worked at IBM where his career spanned from Product Line Management (PPM domain) and Professional Services to Chief Methodologist, Agile and Lean.  In his most recent role, Richard helped Customers and IBMers world wide become more agile by addressing the most difficult challenges, from scaling agile methods and software delivery practices, through organizational and cultural change. Richard is a certified IBM Thought Leader and Open Group Distinguished IT Specialist.  He is also a certified SPC, PSM, Agile Certified Practitioner, PMP and a contributor to the Disciplined Agile Delivery framework and PMI Portfolio/Program Management standards.

SAFe Program and Portfolio Consultant

Drew is a principal contributor to the Scaled Agile Framework™, consultant, and Academy instructor. Drew met Dean Leffingwell in early 2009 when he was developing a scaled Agile methodology for a management consulting company to bridge their strategic business framework with Agile. Since then, they have worked together with global clients to synchronize distributed teams using the Agile Release Train in the U.S., Europe, and India.
