Richard Knaster, SAFe Program and Portfolio Consultant
Richard has over 25 years experience in software development in roles ranging from developer to executive and has been involved in Agile for over a decade. Prior to joining Scaled Agile Inc., Richard worked at IBM where his career spanned from Product Line Management (PPM domain) and Professional Services to Chief Methodologist, Agile and Lean. In his most recent role, Richard helped Customers and IBMers world wide become more agile by addressing the most difficult challenges, from scaling agile methods and software delivery practices, through organizational and cultural change. Richard is a certified IBM Thought Leader and Open Group Distinguished IT Specialist. He is also a certified SPC, PSM, Agile Certified Practitioner, PMP and a contributor to the Disciplined Agile Delivery framework and PMI Portfolio/Program Management standards.
Eric Willeke, SAFe Program Consultant
Eric Willeke is an experienced transformation consultant with deep Agile expertise and an extensive history of working with enterprise customers. Eric guides Rally’s largest customers through their complex Agile adoption and transformation efforts, helping them build capability to sustainably and successfully deliver on the needs of their business. For more than a decade, his personal vision statement, “Helping everybody on a project sleep better at night,” has shaped his passion for continuous improvement and unlocking human potential.
Since joining Rally, Eric has worked with a broad range of Fortune 500 companies in the technology, media, insurance, financial services, and healthcare industries. As both an individual consultant and leader of a Rally coaching team, his work includes advising executives, facilitating planning meetings and release trains, identifying and mitigating adoption risks, helping enterprises train internal coaches, teaching SAFe and Kanban training classes, and guiding and mentoring other Rally coaches.
Eric has earned SPC, AKT, KCP, CSP, and CSM certifications, as well as various technical certifications, throughout his career. He has served on the program committee for the Agile 201x conference series and as the lead editor for the Proceedings of the LSSC conference series, and speaks frequently at conferences around the world.
